Neil has once again agreed to come and talk to us. This evening's talk will take us through raptor nutrition during the breeding season, a subject of special interest to the breeders among us.

Neil will also have a supply of his field emergency first aid kits available, an essential when in the field with your bird, and he will also be micro-chipping on the night, so bring your birds or whatever if you wish to take advantage of this service.

21st June 2008 - Hawk Conservancy, Andover

A family trip to Andover is planned on this day, and Kate is currently asking for all those interested to add their names to the list.

Rough estimate of cost is around £25.00 per head, to include coach payment and entry.

A packed lunch may be taken, or alternatively, there are eating facilities on site.

A deposit of around £12.00 per head will be required to cover the cost of booking the coach.

13th July 2008 - Castle Ashby Country Fair

NRC will have a stand and static display at this event. Again, if you wish to volunteer to help, contact dave Whittaker.

19th July 2008 - Annual BBQ at Holdenby House

The annual club BBQ is planned for this date in July, and we hope to add a stall or two to include arts and crafts, perhaps some equipment and a pencil sketch artist as well as a stickmaker on the day.

This year will be a chicken roast by our man who provided the hog roast last year.Other options are being investigated, so if you have ideas, let's hear 'em!!

Charge per head TBA.

August 2nd 2008 - Blakesley Show

August 10th 2008 - Asda Charity Event, Delapre Abbey

NRC will have a stand and static display at this event. Icarus Falconry may provide a flying demonstration. Again, if you wish to volunteer to help, contact dave Whittaker.

August 23rd, 24th & 25th 2008 - Earls Barton Country Fair

November 27th - Jemima Parry-Jones MBE

The proprietor of the International Centre for Birds of Prey in Eardisland, Herefordshire has kindly agreed to come and talk to us for this meeting, so pencil this date in your diaries!
